About the Association

The European Association of Neuropsychologists is a non-profit organization whose activities are aimed at developing modern approaches in the field of neuropsychology, child development and psychological assistance. The goal of the Organization is to improve the quality of psychological and educational services, introduce scientifically based methods into the practice of specialists, and support children and families.

Main areas of activity of the Organization

  • - development and implementation of educational programs for psychologists, teachers and other specialists;
  • - conducting training courses, seminars and practical trainings;
  • - implementation of neuropsychological approaches in working with children;
  • - information and educational activities in the field of mental development;
  • - support of the professional community and development of interdisciplinary interaction.

The organization is guided by the principles of scientificity, ethics, practical orientation and accessibility of assistance in its activities.

Assessment of the impact of motor development on adaptation to learning

The article renders findings of the study of the devel-opment of school children’s reading skills and motor development (n=61). Pedagogical and psychological literature considers visual, auditory, and cognitive impairments as primary causes of difficulties in devel-oping reading skills. It is generalized an idea that all types of perception (visual, auditory, etc.) are of affer-ent-efferent nature: each of these sensory processes is based on its own motor components.
